Expedition Medicine goes to the Annapurna Sanctuary

1-14 April 2012, Nepal

This is a course that we're really excited about. Combining the wealth of experience we have in running courses, with the lessons we learnt from our first attempt at running it on the move, in Nepal, and at high altitude in 2011, we are in the process of putting together a stunning educational and trekking experience with our partners Griffon Expeditions www.griffonexpeditions.com

We will trek into the famous Annapurna sanctuary, taking a little longer than usual to allow plenty of time for acclimatisation and education.

  • "I like the sequential building of core concepts and skills. Very well thought out."
    SO, Nurse and mountaineer
  • "I think the topics were excellent, in the right order, and important bits re-emphasised well. Before the course started I thought that having nonmedical people would be a problem, however, in retrospect it enhanced the group giving better opportunities to learn from each other. You are a great team to who work well together."
    DM, GP Anaesthetist
